again!

Bibliophile -The classic bibliophile is one who loves to read, admire and collect books, often nurturing a large and specialised collection.

I love the look of a well stocked bookshelf. It just fills me with this warm fuzzy feeling, akin to drinking hot chocolate on a cold day. aaaah~*

anyway, due to the "condition" that im suffering, we found ourselves at the MPH Distributors Warehouse Sale once again. (this time Omar jumped in my bed to wake me up)

on the way

Omar(sadly) was the only one who was as eager as i was about the whole affair. The kid even went as far as to pack us biscuits to take in case we didn't have time to have breakfast!

These are just a few of the things that we got today...

quirky fashion-conscious nursery rhymes, will post a few later... :)

colours~*

shapes~*

These are in spanish, but i like the images and will be printing out labels to stick over the spanish

These were a steal! They were out of their box, a big jumble of cards, with only a rubber band to hold them all together. Got them for RM2! Back home i sorted them out and i got 9 complete characters. i just love it when i get a good deal~*-*

the twilight saga~*

went to the MPH warehouse sale and they were selling New Moon for 20-ish (hardcover!)

*sigh*

Breaking dawn for RM 32.

*sigh*

i bought these a couple of months back... azad's laughing at me, saying "i told you, you should have waited!"

Yea, yea... but hey, no regrets~ s'all good...

MPH warehouse sale~*-*

*beep beep.... beep beep... beep beep beep beep beep!!*

my annoying alarm clock beeped it's way into my morning. but unlike any other morning, today i loved it.

why you ask?

because it was the day we were goin to the MPH warehouse sale.

it felt like christmas. i rushed down to my brothers room, jumped on the bed (lightly! i've learnt from experience...) and woke them both up. Omar shared my enthusiasm and jumped out of bed and into the bath! without much delay we were out of the house and on our way.

However, so were the idiots that pop out whenever pa is on the road. baffling really.

Nevertheless, we were soon goofing off and singing spiritedly,(albeit a little off key!)"by the rivers of baaabiiilon~ there we sat down, yeeeaa-eeeaaah we wept, when we remembered zion~" :)

a little turn here, a little turn there, looked at the map a bit and we were there! then the dreaded P word... PARKING. Mind you this was at 9a.m. they opened at 9 and there was already hardly any spots... when YEY! we spied a small little spot right beside this open manhole. we parked. we got out. and promptly found that we had punctured the tyre on a piece of rubble. unbelievable. who knew tyres were so fragile? "we'll deal with that later, lets get to the books!"

so in we went. it was a book lover's paradise. the first book that went into my basket? Narnia. How much? RM15. ah.. bliss....

our band of 5 split up with everyone holding a basket or box each. i roamed the area, pretty much oblivious to those around me. it was dusty and some of the books were pretty old but most were in good condition and the prices were lower than what they'd usually be.

i got Dr. Seuss books for RM 10 each.

Classics for RM 10-ish (in hard cover!)

Most novels were going for RM 20 ( i took nicholas sparks, stephen king...)

oh... and i saw the twilight saga's new moon, in hard cover, and only RM 25. aih....

anyways.. we met up around noon and after some deliberating on what to get and what to leave we headed to the counter. RM 780. hehehe... thanx papa~*-*

thats how much we got... (which when we got home didn't look like much) :(

anyhow, then the tyre changing had to be done. which i have to say, Malik did great. (helping out and all)

then it was back to klang and back to work.. it was a good day ;) definitely right up there on my happiest days of my life list.

now if i could just find the time to read......
